it's okay, it's normal to miss a person who was part of our life. feel it and if missing him is hurting you then cry. acknowledge your emotions and what you feel, you can't forget a person that easily but i will tell you this. maybe you feel like the world is not on your side, but trust me even if it hurts right now, you will eventually overcome it. i hope you're doing okay today.

keep yourself busy, join a gym go out with friends find a hobby. Throw out any things that remind you of them. no keepsakes.
