I know I'm feeling emotional right now

Author

I know I'm feeling emotional right now, but it truly feels like I'll never find someone like her, or anyone better. Even though I'm young, it feels like I've lost something special. I understand that this is what's best for me, but the thought of not being able to talk to her anymore scares me. I feel so heartbroken. I just want to feel better and more optimistic about everything.

While it may feel like you'll never find someone like her, remember there are countless amazing people out there. It just takes time to find the right one.

That's amazing that you took that step! It might seem small, but it's incredibly difficult, and it truly shows your strength. Healing takes time, and every day without contact is a step forward. I know it feels like you might never find a love like that again, but trust me—there's so much more in store for you. It's hard to see right now, but when the time is right, you'll find love again, and it will feel right in a completely new way. Love can be unpredictable like that. You’ve got this!

If you want to feel better and find some optimism in the situation—even if you believe, “I’ll never find someone like her, or someone better”—it’s time to set a new standard for yourself. Focus on a healthier lifestyle, learn new skills, stay busy, and invest in your personal growth. Establishing a routine can make a big difference.

No one is perfect, and if you think of it in terms of numbers, there will always be someone who’s a little better because no one is truly a 10/10.

This approach to healing might not be perfect or the “healthiest,” but setting new standards and building a routine has been incredibly helpful for me in a short time.

You recognize that you're feeling emotional, and reaching out to her might seem like a quick fix. However, you're focusing on the long-term goal—getting to a place where you've moved past this. The pain you're experiencing now is part of the process and the price of reaching a point where you're ready to find what truly fits you.
