I ignored the love of my life last Friday because she went out and didn’t call me the next day. That silence stretched into two or three days of not talking, and now she’s gone forever. This is the first time we’ve been apart like this in four years, and I don’t know what to do. She seems happier on her own. Our relationship had its ups and downs, and sometimes it was chaotic, but I loved every moment. We held on for so long, and I believed that if I stayed strong through everything, I’d never lose her. She’s amazing and deserves the best, yet she chose to love me. And now she’s gone. I let my ego get in the way, didn’t call her out of anger, and now I’ve lost the love of my life because of it.
