my bf of 1 year straight up ghosted me and I’m lost. We met in uni had a class together became besties and then started dating. We even had plans for the future like marriage and stuff so this is breaking me. This past months’s been rough tho. He started getting mad a lot like when we’d play video games calling me stupid retarded etc. lowkey emotionally abusive vibes which was wild cause he never used to talk to me like that. He’d also say I never listen to him.
Anyway like 8 days ago we went on a date and everything was chill until I made a tiny mistake which I apologized for. He got mad I asked why and he snapped saying I always ask dumb questions and to stop asking why and just do what he says. He drove me home that night and hasn’t texted me since. it’s been a whole week. I’ve messaged him but he’s left me on read.
This is the longest we’ve gone without talking and I’m just hurt and confused. Why not just tell me it’s over instead of ghosting me? I don’t even know what to do or say anymore. I just need help.

So sorry that’s tough. Being left like that hurts a lot. you don’t need someone who’d treat you like that especially when you were already being mistreated. Do you really want a relationship where there’s no care or maturity? Your feelings are valid always. You deserve better like a fresh start. There are so many people out there who’ll treat you right. Take your time to feel everything, it’s okay to hurt. You’ll be okay I promise.
No clue how you’re gonna get through this but you will. Just don’t ever go back. Screw that.

Looks like he thinks he did you a favor but one day he'll realize what he lost. Hopefully by then, you'll be strong enough not to go back. he doesn't sound like he’s good for you at all. It’s gonna hurt but maybe it’s best to block him on everything and just let it go. Moving on will take time but you’ll get there and the sooner you start the better. Wishing you the best.
