Is it normal to still feel hurt like 8 months after a breakup? I don’t miss my ex at all like not even a little. He ended things completely shut me out,cut me off like I didn’t exist. I’m just wondering if it’s normal to still get hit with all the pain and emotions from not getting closure. It’s been happening a lot these past couple month. I’ve moved on in so many ways but then days like today hit. My day was fine but now I’m walking home crying my eyes out questioning my worth.

Breakups can take a long time to heal from especially when there's no closure.
Drop the whole "closure" vibe it’sinternet mumbo jumbo. People grow life keeps moving, and sometimes relationships just do their thing and end after they’ve served their purpose in your story.
Most of the time there’s no one big reason things end—no villain no unfinished business. Sometimes the person calling it quits can’t even explain why it’s just a feeling. The closure? They ended it. If you see it like that you’ll catch the lessons you got from it and trust there’s always a lesson.
I don’t have a clue but I already know I’ll stay the same. My ex pulled the same move a few months back while I was in the hospital. how are we even supposed to bounce back from this?
