How do you get over a guy who was literally everything? the dating pool sucks so bad and it feels impossible to find someone like him again. Makes moving on 10x harder. He checked all the boxes mature smart hardworking loyal clean had hobbies everything. I’ve never met anyone like him. Honestly it’d be easier if he was toxic or something. It’s been 4 months and I still miss him so much. I’ve been meeting people, but no one compares. I always felt like he was way out of my league and now it’s like the universe is rubbing it in.

My ex seemed perfect but the second I asked why he never showed me his house or why he barely did any physical touch he flipped and broke up with me. Now I'm like maybe I shouldn’t have said anything. I could’ve just dealt with not seeing his house and barely any physical touch. What about your ex why’d they break up with you?
I’m in the same boat. It’s been a month my ex was super chill n healthy. Ik the dating pool is trash but if our exes were solid there’s gotta be more out there.
If they’re really the one they’ll want you back. Anyone who doesn’t want me? they’re not on that pedestal anymore.

There was but it was all small stuff. He was such a great partner for the big things and that’s rare.
@Myworld0 looks like he led you on dodged his issues and then just dipped out of the relationship? 4 months is still kinda fresh but while you’re doing your thing and healing maybe start looking for guys who know how to communicate. It’s honestly such a vibe meeting someone who’s real with you and not checked out like that Also he sounds super self centered especially jumping into something new right away without even processing anything.
@RideOrDie I think I struggle coz I feel like I was the one who sucked at communicating didn’t work on my stuff and kinda pushed him away. He’d always force me to talk when I was upset and shutting down and he was always the first to say sorry. His communication got bad toward the end but I think it’s cuz he was lying to himself too trying to make it work. He probably should’ve ended it way sooner but I blame myself for it getting to that point.
Remember why it didn’t work and don’t put him on a pedestal everyone’s got their flaws. Focus on you get even better than you think he was and find your self worth within yourself.
