Can i really find someone like her again?

Author

me and my ex We ended our six‑month relationship recently. Honestly I always felt she was out of my league she was kind gentle and we never really had issues. We shared so much: the same movies shows silly relationship traditions and even little things like her putting stickers with her name and hearts on my car’s dashboard to mark her passenger seat.
But in the last week she told me she had fallen out of love. She said she wasn’t excited to see me anymore. It was a shock. I had searched for so long through Snap Insta even other schools to find someone who matched me and when I finally did we were inseparable. So hearing her say that was devastating.
Her last text said there’s always hope for the future and that I did nothing wrong. But I don’t know what to believe. People say that kind of thing all the time and it feels cliché. How often is it actually true? Should I hold onto hope for another chance? Or is it really possible to find someone else who matches you almost perfectly like she did?

if she never came back, would you still see this relationship as proof you CAN find someone who matches you like that?

when someone says you did nothing wrong but they fell out of love, i try to take that at face value. it doesn’t mean you weren’t enough. sometimes feelings just shift.

She wont come back dude. dont waste your life holding on to someone who's rejected you. that never works.

i’ve been the guy who thought “she’s out of my league” and then got hit with the “i’m not excited anymore.” it’s such a quiet kind of rejection. no big fight. just… feelings fading. when my ex said “maybe in the future,” i clung to that for months. it kept me stuck so yeah. i feel this in my bones.
