My ex dumped me 1 year ago saying we didn’t vibe with the same lifestyle. She moved on pretty quick and is still with that dude but we kept things chill and had small talk every few months. I thought we were cool like friends or whatever since the breakup reason wasn’t anything wild.
Fast forward 12 months and I leveled up landed a solid job bought a house started traveling more. I’d post about these wins on socials and she’d hit me up sometimes with congrats. But then her replies got kinda short like she didn’t wanna engage but still did. Eventually she stopped checking my posts which was weird cause she used to be all up on them.
A few months later I checked in like Hey long time no chat. How’s life? She opened it ghosted for 3 days then blocked me with no explanation. I was like huh? We’d been chill for 1 year and she cuts me off out of nowhere? Then it clicked her vibe shifted after I started thriving. Seeing my growth probs hit her different. Maybe she started doubting her choices felt some type of way and dipped after my simple Hey how are you? ?

it’s awesome you’ve grown so much and you should totally be proud. But like you don’t really know what’s going on in her life. Maybe she just didn’t wanna stay in touch with an ex while being in a serious relationship. I wouldn’t overthink how much she checks your socials or responds like it doesn’t even matter. You’re out here traveling and thriving. Focus on yourself not her vibes.
