he didn’t technically break up with me but I found out he was planning to. I confronted him and he admitted it but didn’t actually do it. I’m stuck living in the house his parents bought him. I’m a med student with no place to go for now and I literally can’t focus on finding somewhere else at the moment but I’ve already applied for student housing.
Anyway we’re still living together and things are a mess. He’s trying to have these light casual convos with me while also asking me to sign a contract saying I’ll leave when I find a place. This has been my home for 2 years and now I’m gonna lose my cat cause she can’t come with me to student housing and I don’t wanna mess up her stability.
On top of that I’m heartbroken that my partner has lost his mind and I have no closure or clarity. I can’t even get space from him. My head’s all over the place and my chest literally hurts. I’ve got an exam tomorrow and can’t even focus. I have no idea what to do.

Find a safe space. Even if it's temporary.
