I recently started talking to this girl I thought was gonna be the one but things turned out kinda different... She was super shy quiet and didn’t really have any friends. I’m also kinda introverted so I thought we clicked well. We got together and I introduced her to my friend group since she said she didn’t really have friends. But after that she started hanging out with my best friend who had just gotten out of a long relationship and completely ignored me. She’d spend all her time with him wouldn’t give me any attention and whenever I tried to get close like hug her or whatever she’d push me away.
Then I found out my so called best friend was talking mad crap about me to her calling me all sorts of names like feral skinny bitch good for nothing etc. He said all this stuff to her not to my face. And he was giving her advice like Control him don’t give him attention he’ll get bored. I wasn’t sure what to think at first, got kinda annoyed but didn’t say anything. Then they went out together just the two of them for pizza. To me that feels like a date not just hanging out. I mean if there were more people fine but just them? Nah. I got mad but let it go for the moment.
Fast forward a bit and I find out she’s going to his place again this time to drink and eat pizza. My gut was telling me something was off and I was pissed. Like how can she have no respect for me or my boundaries after I told her how I felt? She’s talking to someone who’s trash-talking me behind my back and going on what feels like dates with him.
I’m writing this to vent honestly because I don’t really have anyone to talk to about this. I’m thinking of breaking up with her since I feel disrespected and emotionally neglected. I’ve told her how I feel multiple times but she just changes the subject and when I asked her to cut him off she just ignored it :(
