I was totally wrecked over this guy I shouldn’t have even fallen for lost all my dignity and self-respect and convinced him we should keep vibing. He wanted me I wanted him so what’s the point of being miserable right? But now I’m thinking maybe God put him in my life for a reason and that chapter’s done. Maybe I should’ve just left things alone.

Seems like you valued him more than your own dignity like you wanted him above everything else. The love you two had must've been something wild. But it only ends when both of you decide it's over. The real question is in a world full of so much negativity should something so beautiful end in the first place? Life's full of lows way more than highs honestly but I'd hold onto that love with everything I’ve got.
I really appreciate that. You’re so right. I totally lost my dignity and selfrespect by not letting go breaking no contact and telling him how I felt. We hung out Friday and the chemistry was stronger than ever. After we got intimate he texted me saying he had this crazy adrenaline rush. I was like good does that mean I'll see you again? And he said again and again. I’ve been a bit distant since then tho just scared he’ll hurt me again.
@leftheart Set some boundaries let him know what’s up if he hurts you again but I really hope he doesn’t. Happy for you OP keep doing your thing!
@Trickybody What kind of boundaries should I set? We were talking today and I told him I hate that whenever I see something beautiful he's the first person I wanna share it with. The attraction’s still there but I feel like something’s kinda lost
@leftheart you lost the same thing i did with one of my exes trust in the relationship. that’s what happens when you get wronged trust gets messed up. you really gotta think about it cause trust is everything in a relationship. try talking to him and see if you two can figure it out it’s something only you guys can fix. when it comes to boundaries it’s about anything that could stop what happened before any issues how you communicate how you handle problems. basically anything that could cause you two to break up again. don’t think things will just magically change cause you’re back together if you want change you gotta put in the work.
