my girl of two years ended things said it was for her mental and physical health. She'd been dealing with this crazy allergy for months doctors were useless. Her night shifts messed up her sleep and she lost mad weight. Then her parents' house got torched in a fire like 80 percent gone. She was done said she's leaving the city to help her parents rebuild quitting her job and gonna focus on her health. Said she needed a year at least to get her head right and couldn't do the long distance thing. I asked if we'd ever get back together she said maybe in the future but didn't know for sure.
Two weeks later we had a chill breakup she said we could stay friends I said nah I love her too much. We wished each other the best. I said I'd check in on her sometimes and she said okay. I texted her last night after two weeks to wish her happy festival and see how she was. She said she's okay dealing with a lot and hoped I was good too. We still care about each other even though it hurts. I don't wanna text her again cause it'll just remind her of us and I don't wanna make it worse. I just hope we both heal. I'm still trying to process all this and move on.
