I threw myself into fitness not just for physical change but for mental strength. The discipline the movement the way my body and mind felt lighter it all helped me rebuild confidence in myself.
Travel even if it was just a short trip somewhere new gave me a fresh perspective. Changing my environment made it easier to detach from memories and build new ones.
Therapy changed everything. Talking through my emotions with someone who understood helped me process why I was holding onto the past and how to finally let go.
create a future list places where u wanted to visit things uh wanted to learn goals you wanted to achieve. Every time you felt stuck in the past remind yourself there’s so much ahead that has nothing to do with them.
Music helped. built new playlists found songs that resonated with healing instead of heartache. The more you surrounded yourself with fresh energy the less you associated life with them.
Forgetting isn’t about erasing them it’s about shifting focus. I started exploring hobbies I never had time for pushing myself into new experiences. The more I filled my life with things for me the less space they occupied in my mind.
breathe deeply everyday be aware of your breath... everytime you think of them, shift focus on your breathing instead keep doing that everytime like a habit
The more we try to forget them, The stronger our mind resists.Dont do anything with the intention of forgetting them.Since that would mean your decision to be with them incorrect.Let them be in your mind , and just go out into life try new things, new people, travel, work new jobs, educate yourself with new skills, try creative things, connect with Nature and let the pain and memory in the hands of God and let him deal with it
