so we only dated for a few months and that was two years ago but it's the only relationship I've ever been in so seeing this post really got to me. I've tried online dating since then but I haven't been able to make any lasting connections. It feels like all my friends are getting married engaged or are in long-term relationships and I'm just being left behind unable to reach that next stage of life. It's so much harder to focus on my career and personal growth when all I really want right now is to find someone and build a lasting connection. Has anyone else been through something similar or have any advice on how to get over this?

It’s so relatable to feel this way but don’t lose hope. The right connection takes time and focusing on yourself can help you attract the love you deserve.

I’ve been through something similar and it’s not easy. Just know that you’re not being left behind your path is unique and amazing things are ahead for you

I totally understand how you feel. It’s hard not to compare yourself to others but remember that everyone’s journey is different. Your time will come and it’ll be worth the wait.

Going through it myself not exactly the same but I get it. The dating pool is trash if you want something real. Just focus on your own life and stop comparing yourself to others. Grind at work hit the gym sleep repeat. You'll get lucky and find a real one eventually. Might sound dumb but ask yourself everyday If I had a daughter would I want her to date someone like me? If it's not a hard yes keep working on yourself.
