so I told my ex to not come and visit me in my home country. After he cheated twice, we agreed on just staying friends. And I thought him wanting to visit as friends was ingenuine, and I asked him not to visit me. Today he stopped talking to me after I told him again that I dont wanna date him ever again. But he already knew that, which makes me question if he is seeing other people and needed an excuse to disappear. I just feel like Im getting abused over and over in a cycle

It’s hard but you’re breaking the cycle by refusing to let him manipulate you anymore.
You’re better off without him. If he’s seeing other people let him he’s not worth your energy.
