help... he just texted me wanting me to atleast attend his auntie's wedding because he is the best man and I was supposed to be the maid of honor... I'm not really close to his auntie but I got chosen to be the maid of honor because the previous one had a fight with the bride and they needed a new replacement. so they thought i would be perfect because I was his girlfriend.

If you’re not close to his auntie, then there’s nothing you owe to either of them. I suggest you say no. If you really mean to move on, just dont reply. There’s no point fueling his ego because I am most certain he is not going to take you coming as your kindness. He will see it as his power over you.
