my father's son cheated for 2 years but I failed alot in the relationship I didn't show him affection when all he asked for was to be loved and I also didn't fully accept his first born because of my own selfish reasons of wanting to be a "perfect family" should I fight for him or let go.

Relationships are messy it’s big of you to reflect on your actions. But if he cheated for 2 years it’s giving he didn’t value you. Letting go might be the move
it sounds like you’re doing some deep self-reflection that’s huge. If he cheated for 2 years though maybe it’s time to let go and focus on healing yourself.
