did you guys ever get over your first everything?

it took me forever. like i kept thinking if i just healed right i’d stop missing him. but honestly? i just had to live through it. minute by minute. and let time do what it does.

still think about him sometimes. not in a want him back way… just in a wow that really changed me kind of way

i thought i’d never stop. they were my first everything too. it took me YEARS to stop waiting for their name to pop up on my phone.
but yeah… eventually the ache got quieter.

7 months on for me and it is getting easier, day by day
