if he ghosted he gave up the right to know what you keep or return. do whatever gives you peace.
i kept the thing that made me feel safe. gave back the rest. it wasn’t about him just me needing space to breathe.
i left the note. he probably laughed at it. whatever. i needed to say it more than he needed to read it.
