18 days since she broke up. She said she wants no contact and told me that maybe some day, when we both get along with the situation we can text each other again and how we are holding up with our future plans. In 3 days is her birthday. Should i text her? Or should i maintain the no contact she asked for? My thoughts are, if there is any feeling about me left in her, maybe she'll start to think, why isn't he texting me. That would be a good sign isn't it? And if i text her and barely or not get any answer, then i will feel even more worse than before. What would you do in that situation?

sounds like he’s hoping silence will make her miss him. maybe it will. but that’s not the same as wanting to come back.
i wanted to so bad. her birthday felt huge. but i remembered she asked for space. so i didn’t. it hurt but i felt more okay the next day.
maintain, its my exs birthday at the end of August and I won't be sending any message as the last one was hardly responded to
i texted. felt stupid after. she answered with thanks and that was it. ruined my whole week for nothing.
