We have 2 kids. I thought i was pregnant and shared with him. He insulted me that day more than he has insulted me for the 9 years we were together. I'm grateful it was a false positive and communicated to him the same and started again no contact. So today, he sends a message claiming he was in an accident. I doubt if he has been in one. I believe he is still trying to see if i still care. As a fellow human, i do care, but as his ex, nope. What could this man want? because honestly, I'm far gone and have decided to raise my children with or without his help

i remember when i thought i was pregnant too. scary and alone. it’s ok to care a little and still protect your peace.
mine used to fake emergencies too. car trouble. hospital. said he passed out once. always when i went quiet. it’s not care, it’s control.
You have to do what's best for you, even if that means not responding to him.
