I am going through overcoming a relationship that never happened, a crush that could not turn into love, in any form. But it still hurts, specially because it's a slow process, in which he kept providing false hopes, while refusing to acknowledge an amicable ending, a consideration for my feelings, or some other closure. :/ It feels a bit unfair.

that slow fade hurts so much. i kept thinking maybe he just needed time. but he already knew it was a no.
yeah, it would have been kinder to provide clarity, since I asked him for it. but it's good at least to know i'm not the only one who experienced it :X :-)
mine dragged it out too. like he liked the attention but never planned to actually be with me. it’s so messed up.
exactly! also because then the decision to cut it off completely and loose hope needs to be on me only :/
