Why does it feel like I'm dying without him? It's been a month and a half since he cheated on me and broke up with me after 6 years...

the kind of breakup where your whole routine still fits them even after they’re gone.

i remember sleeping with my hoodie over my face so i wouldn’t smell her perfume on the pillow. i still couldn’t breathe right.

i understand that the message of "with time you will heal" maybe, in this exact moment, will not help a lot. i could say i’m facing what you are facing, but it ended fast. i understand how hard it feels to break the routine, it was an important part of your life for six years. i have a rule that is like this: i can be dying for someone who broke my heart, i can be crying, but i need to not give up and keep doing the normal things in my day. i mean, you can cry, but you can’t stop doing what you normally do in your life.

part of this process is to understand that breaking up was the best thing you could do in your situation. you need to love yourself, and in this process it will be the key to understanding. but here is the tricky part: you could understand that breaking up was the best, but you still keep missing him. it’s normal, and we all need to face that.

i would recommend a psychologist that includes relaxing therapy, like relaxing and letting it all out by crying, talking, etc. for example, relaxing with your eyes closed and with a specialist. it could sound like it’s not normal to go, but it really is. if you want to keep it a secret, keep it, but it helps a lot.

we can all go through this, and you can too. you will get help when you need it. you can do this.

i hope this helps you. sorry if it is so long and has some grammatical errors, i don’t speak english normally. sorry.

Hang on it a little longer and the pain will start to fade away...
