The night before last it all kicked off between my ex and teenage son. His bottled up feelings came out and he lashed out, telling the ex what he thought of him. I struggled with the situation so much. My son has the right to be angry, how do I stay strong and help him through this when I’m struggling myself? 🙈 The ex on the other hand refused to speak to him the next day and when taking us to the airport no words were exhanged. I’m hoping that our week away together will provide some time for us to heal together.

i remember those nights. i’d wake up and just lay there wishing my head would give me a break. it fades, i promise.
my ex used to ice out pretended nothing happened like silence made it go away. it just made me hate him more.
it’s something so people are okay with, silence. for me, it’s a weapon as that’s what my mom has always done to me out of anger.
