I’ve been in a relationship three years now and we lived together. it has been off lately since the start of the year and we haven’t been on good terms and i moved out and haven’t seen him since 3 months…. the sad part is i really miss our dog… he is my baby and it just makes me cry to not see him react to my voice even on the video call or get to hear him bark or tilt his head…. i feel super lost we’ve lived as a family and i dont know what should i do….

sounds like the dog was the part that made the house feel alive, and now it’s just gone quiet.
i still think about how my cat used to curl up on my chest. missing them felt like losing home all over again.
i hate how the dog thing cuts deeper than the breakup. like they took your person and your little shadow too.
