16 days feels short when your brain keeps waiting for a call. the part that messes with you is how fast time drags when you’re the one left hanging.
i get that. i used to replay what i would say if he let me explain. i never got to, but it helped me sit with my own truth anyway.
at least you've tried your best to explain YOURself even though he can't hear it.
i remember begging for that chance in my head every single day. she never gave it. pissed me off more than the breakup itself. like i wasn’t even worth a conversation.
