depends on how you handle it. if you just swap the thing and don’t get into a chat, it’s still pretty much no contact. the break only happens if you actually start talking.

I gave my ex his things back, he got stuff for me I paid him back. I counted it as breaking no contact just as motivation for myself, but it all depends on the person. it's up to you if it breaks it and I'm proud of you!
