Was I wrong for breaking up with. Our first time staying at his house I just got put in add meds and had 3 espresso martinis and then blacked out and don't remember anything but waking up. His ex wife also randomly showed up the night and this week her AC broke so she stayed with him and the kids at his place.He was really thoughtful, opened doors, remembered things I like. When I broke up with him he said how inspiring I was to him.

the part that stands out is you not remembering the first night. that kind of start can make the rest of it feel shaky no matter how kind he was later.
i had someone like that who was thoughtful in little ways too, but the timing was messy. i don’t think ending it makes you wrong, it just means it wasn’t sitting right for you.
sounds like too much was going on at once. new meds, booze, his ex in the picture. i would’ve dipped too. doesn’t matter how nice he was, if the vibe feels off, it feels off.
dont know the full context of what went down but something must have triggered you to take the step. if you are second gurssing yourself, were you angry or agitated when u decided and if you dont feel the same way about it, hust think with. cool head.
I wasn't anger or agitated. We were supposed to watch Wednesday and go to a rubber duck themed bar but I didn't feel like going and was going to cancel but that was the second time this week I cancelled so instead of cancelling I just broke up with him. He even tried to offering me a job.
