career stress is taking front seat for you. i’ve seen that happen. the breakup fades in the background when something else feels more urgent.
i remember being swamped with work problems and thinking maybe that’s why the missing him wasn’t eating me alive the same way. sometimes your brain just shifts to what screams louder.
