I’m very curious, I haven’t contacted my ex in over 4 months. We see each other at the gym still, he does things to try to get my attention but I don’t give him the reaction. I care about him a lot. All my friends and family tell me to move on, I think about him all the time. I think the last thing that is keeping me from moving on is seeing him at the gym.

the gym keeps the connection alive more than anything else. happened with me, i thought i was moving on but seeing him in the same spot every week kept resetting everything.
ya it does, honestly I’m not ready to move on. everyone keeps telling me to move on but I can’t. once I’m ready I’ll move on as of now I’m just holding on to to the little hope that one day everything will be okay. and we’ll meet again when we’re both ready. I guess
mine used to show up at places he knew i’d be. even if i stayed cool outside, inside i was shaking. caring doesn’t switch off just because people tell you to.
ya mine doesn’t, he just acts cold. literally avoids me in the gym but watches me from a distance. then sometimes comes nearby. so confusing, so over it. but not really
i had an ex like that at the gym too. he’d walk slower near me, lift louder, try to catch my eye. i hated how much space he took up in my head when i was just trying to work out.
what did you do? the thing is I was thinking about switching gyms… but it’s like I don’t want him to have the power over me. I want to stand strong. cause we did meet in the gym, but like I never needed him. he thought I needed him but I didn’t…
@OpenMind479 it’s so annoying. he literally does the most annoying things ever. and he’s brings this obnoxious older friend who idk where he came from and he’s creepy he said hi to me once I ignored it
Is there any way you could find another gym? I truly believe it would help you.
I can but this is my gym before his. he just moved here 1/ and 1/2ago. I’ve been a member of this gym for a long time.
