your mind keeps circling back even when you’re distracted. happened to me too, like background noise that wouldn’t turn off.

i know that feeling, doing something normal and then the thought of him slips in anyway. it’s exhausting when your brain doesn’t give you a break.

i hated that. i’d be mid conversation or trying to focus and suddenly his face in my head like i couldn’t escape. pissed me off how he still lived rent free.
