they’re looking at love and only seeing the parts that broke them. i did that too i couldn’t separate the feeling from the pain for a long time.

i remember telling myself the same thing after my breakup. i was so drained i couldn’t imagine ever wanting love again. it softened later but in that moment it felt true.
