that work meeting yesterday really messed with my head

what happened to you yesterday reminded me of when i saw my ex in the same work space. the normal routine felt wrecked just from that one encounter.

i know that gut drop. i used to hear his laugh across the room and my chest would ache for hours. it makes sense you feel low after that.

i hated that. i’d sit through meetings just burning inside, pretending i was fine while every word from him made me sick. i left feeling wrecked every single time.
