Anyone have tips for navigating loneliness? I feel so small and isolated like I could scream forever into a void and no one would hear. I know this panic comes from a fear of losing what I don't even have and that realization I have no one to confide in is so scary. My whole being is just screaming to be seen even for a moment. I used to be great at keeping my mind busy but lately those skills have been eroding. Is there anything I can do about this?

I've been dealing with loneliness for a very long time too, I want to get used to it but it sucks having no one talking to you or even remembering you
i had nights where i’d just cry into my pillow and wish someone cared enough to ask how i was. it was so quiet it felt unreal. it’s scary when your own mind feels too loud.
Loneliness can be a really tough and isolating experience. Here are some things that might help you cope with these feelings:
- *Reach out to someone*: Even if it's just a casual conversation, talking to someone can help you feel more connected. You could try calling a friend or family member, or even joining an online community or support group.
- *Get creative*: Engaging in creative activities like writing, drawing, or playing music can be a great way to express yourself and distract yourself from feelings of loneliness.
- *Take care of yourself*: Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating well, and exercising regularly. Taking care of your physical health can help improve your mental well-being.
- *Practice mindfulness*: Mindfulness techniques like meditation or deep breathing can help you stay present and focused, rather than getting caught up in worries about the future or past.
- *Get outside*: Spending time in nature can be really beneficial for your mental health. Try going for a walk or hike, or simply sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air.
It's okay to feel lonely, and it's okay to ask for help. You don't have to go through this alone.
Some online resources that might be helpful include:
- *Support groups*: There are many online support groups for people dealing with loneliness, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
- *Mental health apps*: There are many apps available that can help you track your mood, practice mindfulness, and connect with others.
- *Online therapy*: If you're struggling to cope with your feelings, consider reaching out to a therapist or counselor online. They can provide you with support and guidance as you navigate these challenging emotions.
i remember sitting in my room and wanting to smash my phone because no one was texting. i felt invisible. i’d scroll apps just to feel something and it made me hate myself more.
I’m on the exact same boat as you. I have a younger sister who i’m close with friends who support me and my mom who has been there for me. But I still feel so lonely. If you ever want to chat i’m here I just got out of a abusive relationship
