my ex tried reaching out to me 2 times. the first time was tru a friend that didn't know we broke up. I quickly told her to block him since we aren't together anymore. but recently he tried reaching out again on this new Spotify feature which is chats idk since when we can chat on Spotify but we can apparently. anyways the guy said "wtf we can chat on Spotify (miss you lots btw)" I left him in read. i didn't block his Spotify bc I thought it was going to be useless. now idk what to do the guy literally dumped me for a other girl and like I sorta miss him and I had thought's of breaking no contact pls send help.

you already showed you can leave him on read. that says something. he’s the one reaching out after ending it, you’re the one deciding if that door stays open or not.
i remember staring at a message like that, rereading it feeling my chest tighten. it’s normal that you miss him i missed mine too even after what he did. i didn’t block right away either.
No, don't reach out! He is just bread crumbing you. As long as he doesn't offer you a sincere apology and takes accountability for his actions, I wouldn't even consider giving him any sort of reaction. He knows what he did.
mine came back like that too acting casual with a miss you after leaving me for someone else. it pissed me off how easy it was for him to just pop back in. i hated how part of me still wanted to answer.
