I had to break up with my girlfriend yesterday and the pain is awful. We had some ongoing issues and I couldn't seem to change a pattern of behavior that was making her feel unloved.
We'd been dating for three years and she saw a future with me that I just hadn't considered. We're pretty young and while she was thinking about marriage I wasn't. It's my fault for never bringing it up.I love her a lot but I truly didn't know if I saw a future with her and I didn't think she should be with someone who was so unsure when she was ready to give 110%. I felt like it was better to end things than to keep leading her on. But man the pain is unbearable.

If you loved her you would try to make it work as long as both sides wanted it but it’s okay if you wanted out as long as you did it the right way

You did the right thing I’m sorry. Now I would say the next right thing is to leave her be. Go no contact. Reaching out in any capacity will give her hope and ultimately hurt more.
