i did that too, just letting him peek without talking. it felt confusing but i guess it’s normal to still want small contact.

It is normal if you continue into getting over them. If both of you do not post any indirect about anything and you just live your life. Even though you could do that, every time you see a story from them, it will make you feel bad (that’s what I think)

I think, if you want the real no contact, neither you should contact them nor they have any means to contact you. my advice would be to block them or mute them so they won't see your status or anything. just disappear from their life.
