you’re sitting in that space where the mind keeps circling one question. i did that too, even when deep down i already knew the answer.

i’d wake up hoping i’d see his name on my phone. it was so hard to accept silence.

i used to torture myself with that question every night. like replaying the breakup and thinking maybe tomorrow he’ll text. it just messed me up more.
