The last time we met, he borrowed my headphones and didn't return them. After a week, he's asking me now if I'm still going to ask for my headphones back. He said that he told his mom that I gave them to him. I told him that, yes, I still need them. + Those cost $450. I straight up told him why would I give something to an ex. Why is he being like this?

he’s trying to flip the story so he doesn’t look like he owes you. i remember how my ex would do small things like that, like testing how much control he still had.
i had something like that too he held on to my camera and acted like it was his. it hurt cause it felt like he was twisting things just to stay connected. i get why this feels so off.
mine kept my hoodie and swore i gifted it. i was pissed cause it wasn’t even about the hoodie, it was about him making up stories so he didn’t have to admit he just wanted to keep my stuff.
It's so weird.. Make sure you get your phone back or ask him to give you money for that phone.. For that long also, we don't know what he do in that phone... becareful with it
