what’s helped me is making it hard to reach out… like deleting the number or giving my phone to a friend when i’m spiraling. and then i try to fill the empty space with something else, even if it’s dumb distractions.
i remember when i couldn’t stop calling my ex even tho i KNEW he wasn’t good for me. i’d sit there staring at my phone like it was a lifeline. it was brutal at first, but over time the urges got weaker. it’s kinda like withdrawals from a drug, that’s how it felt for me.
I had to do 3 things:
1. Mute all of his social media accounts so they didnt appear in my feeds
2. Block his number so that I wasnt tempted
3. Write all the things I want to say to him in my journal instead of calling him.
@SweetMe495 You need to ask yourself 3 questions... 1. Has he shown any growth or change? 2. Have I shown any growth or change? 3. If we got back together right now would it be better or exactly the same?
@SadFox If hes the same and you are the same, and you cant honestly say that your relationship would be better than before.. then going back right now is a bad idea and you both need more time
For me, Go outside with your friends and make sure you not alone in the night, can sleep with your friend also and have fun... Make sure you used to without him and accepted he not yours any more 🥲

do you feel like you’re calling him for comfort or for answers? sometimes knowing the “why” behind the urge makes it a little easier to fight it.
I don't have any reason , sometimes during fights I just call him again and again just to make sure he does not give up on me and it backfires somehow

I have job related exams coming up and in this crucial moment I don't know how to deal with this

I feel like I will die if he doesn't talk to me exactly at that moment
