went on a long walk and I got a phone call. during that phone call she came walking by. probably she was on the way to the gym. she waved at me. I noticed but I did mot wave back. I look at her before we got to close and I kept talking on the phone.

did you not wave because you wanted to avoid drama, or because it still hurts to be seen by them?
you did what felt safest. sometimes not engaging is the healthiest move, even if it feels weird afterwards. breathe, you handled it.
i’ve been there. saw my ex on a walk, pretended to be deep in a call and kept walking. felt awkward then, but it was me protecting my peace.
