We first connected on Instagram in December 2023. Our homes were close by and I’d had feelings for her for two years but she was in a relationship back then. She broke up in 2023 and six months later I messaged her. She wasn’t ready for anything romantic so I gave her space. We became close friends and our bond grew stronger over time.
Then in Augus 2025 she told me she loved me. I’d asked her about being in a relationship before but this time she said it on her own. Just a week later she told me she’d been dreaming about her ex and needed time to figure things out. It broke my heart but I didn’t push. I thought maybe we could just stay friends.
Later she started wanting me to treat her like we were in a relationship even though we weren’t. We ended up fighting. I finally let out everything I’d been holding in how long I’d waited for her love everything I’d felt. She said she didn’t hold anything against me. That was the end of the conversation. But inside I was shattered.
