I just went through my first serious relationship. It lasted a little over a year. Things were great in the beginning but slowly she started pulling away. And then… it just ended. No real conversation. No final words. Just silence.
That silence is what hurts the most. Not knowing the exact moment it was over. No closure. Just fading connection and being ignored. It’s made me question everything myself the relationship all the memories. And it’s painful.
I know I need to move forward but it feels impossible without answers. Has anyone else experienced a breakup that ended in silence? How did you cope with it?

is it okay to ask are you sri lankan your name sounds like that ? thats why i asked.
this is your firt serious relationship ..so i know you feel like this ..if you want to move on just send her your last words with a single message and take a long breath and accept the thing and move on..just be yourself do something you like.dont addict people again.just make yourself happpy do something happy ..go night rides..with friends ..but if you need to talk and ask contact her and ask her whats the problem ..what make her like that ? if you tired of it just let people go ..be yourself .unfollow her from everything taks a deep breath and start your journey .go ahead .♥️🌟dont blame people for not choosing you..first choose yourself ..make yourself more beautiful .🫠
what usually helps me is writing down everything i wish i could’ve said to them. i never send it. but getting the words out makes the silence less heavy.
damn, i feel that. when she started pulling away, did you notice any shifts in how she treated you day to day? like little changes?
yeah, i had the same thing happen. one day we were laughing, the next it was just cold silence. no fight, no goodbye. that ghosting feeling wrecked me more than an actual breakup talk ever could.
