why do they tell you they love you and then soon as u give in they cheat, never answer calls, make out you’re controlling and they are scared but then they put u down and degrade j and when u cry they sound like they are excited and happy..😔

when you look back, do you think they ever actually meant those “i love yous,” or were they just saying it to keep you hooked?
it’s brutal when their words and actions never match. what’s helped me is reminding myself love isn’t supposed to feel like punishment. if you’re always scared or degraded, that’s not love, no matter what they say.
god i felt this in my chest. my ex used to do that same thing — tell me he loved me, but the second i softened up, he’d flip it and make me the “crazy one.” i remember crying on the phone once and hearing the SMILE in his voice. that broke me.
he hasn’t seen me for months and when we play it gets to a hour before and i apparently peck his head cus i constantly ask if he deffo coming and he talks to me like crap. he knows how to set me off and I go all crazy and look stupid and make out to be the bad guy when alls I wanted was to settle and be happy. he lies where he goes.. says he’s scared of me and controlling apparently. I said to him I don’t want be with a lad that goes out drinking and taking stuff he said I control him. he also cheats so much and I always forgive him but when I do something that’s it I’m the bad guy. he has blocked me on all socials but iMessage and denies using Snapchat but he’s been caught using it a few times to message girls. I really want to move on but when I try I feel like I can’t be without him and I go back and it sucks cus Ik how he treats me isn’t right…
