he messaged me out of the blue, it wasnt nice. it wasnt 'im sorry.' it made me feel like my body is the only thing that has worth.
he said
"if u are bored or just lonely ur always welcome here, but i'm not dealing with any of the "friendship" logistics. good times only, that's kind of all i'm offering at this point, i don't mean to be rude but i'm not trying the committed friendship dealio. i'd reach out see how ur doing and what not, but yeah it would not be about being friends."
what the f*ck.

reading that hurt. are you thinking of responding to him, or are you just sitting with how it made you feel right now?
I was so disgusted by this text, he is genuinely a awful fkn person. I responded and blocked him off my computer (yes my computer bc his phone number on my phone is blocked) and said "You’re not deep, you’re not complicated, you’re just selfish. You’re not half the man you think you are. All you’ve proven is you can use people and run from accountability. Pathetic. The worst part isn’t that you don’t care. It’s that you think being this empty is something to be proud of. Good luck with that babe, im done."
this kind of message always knocked the air out of me. what’s helped me is literally not replying, even when it’s tempting. distance gave me my self-respect back piece by piece.
my ex used to text me like that too, like my body was the only thing he valued. it’s such a gross, hollow feeling when someone shows you exactly how little they see you.
I just dont understand after everything, all the begging, pleading, crying, trying to explain, being on and off for years, and finally making a break in the cycle..THIS is what he has to say? THATS it? he knows me and that I cant separate sex and feelings with him, so why tf would he text me that
just block him and you'll never hear from him 🤍
keep it chill don't respond sweetie
What the actual fxxx?! i would be so tempted to respond with something like "f*** off" but your silence will be definitely a stronger message. I agree with RavenWings.
Don't respond. He just wants kibble to feel better about himself that you're not over him. Go no contact. It's hard, but worth it.
