are you going alone tonight or with someone? just wondering because sometimes sharing that “last” moment with a friend makes it a little less heavy.

this is such a strong move. endings like this hurt but also free you. when i was at that point, writing a small note to myself about what i was letting go helped me not run back mentally. maybe try that if it feels right.
i did something similar once… went to the spot where we used to hang out, just to let it go. it’s like a quiet goodbye you give yourself too. i feel you on that invisible cage thing, been there
