I'm now in the 33days nc. Since day before yesterday, it seems that I'm going back on being sad. I already read about that usually people start to feel better on the third month. It would be very helpful for me listen to the ones that are on the other side of the bridge haha

how have you been keeping busy these past 33 days? sometimes little routines help the sadness feel less heavy.
hey. I've been no contact for about 4 months and I can tell you it does get easier. I'm still having to see my ex every few days but I don't engage with him at all. I remember in the first month I was just sitting in my room trying to stop crying and wishing it was just a bad dream. I missed him so much and he was really my only best friend and who I talked to everyday, so when we broke up I lost him as a boyfriend and as my best friend. But now, I honestly only feel anger towards him now. Because, it took me a while, but I realized how badly he was treating me and how he had doomed the relationship from the very start. So I can definitely tell you it gets better, the first month or so is always filled with sadness but as you continue on, you'll start to feel better. you just have to be patient and let it happen and don't stop living your life because of them.

this is normal, trust me. the ups and downs are part of getting over them. try journaling or just letting yourself feel it instead of fighting it.
ugh i get this 😭 i was around day 40 of nc and suddenly felt all the sadness hit again. it’s like your brain reminds you what you lost, even when you’re healing.
