I spent two years of my life energy and emotions on a man who clearly didn’t care about me. It’s honestly the worst pain I’ve ever felt. And I’m exhausted from hearing people say Well you knew he wasn’t right for you or You knew he didn’t love you. Thanks for the unsolicited advice it really helps (not). And to those suggesting I should just get under someone else that’s disgusting. I’m not that kind of woman. I just want someone who will love me the way I love them.
I held on hoping for something that was never going to happen. I gave everything cooked cleaned cared for him while he gave me absolutely nothing in return. Two years of devotion and he couldn’t even meet me halfway. I feel drained disappointed and deeply hurt.

Breakups are always hard. Based on your description, it sounds like your needs weren’t getting met in that relationship. I get wanting to find someone who loves you and that you can love. We all want that. The key thing for you to understand about yourself is why you stick around for two years when you aren’t getting your needs met. If you can figure that out then you’ll unlock the potential to find a good partner for yourself.
I know how you feel. It's really hard to understand how people can be deceiving.
