It’s been 41 days since I decided to take no contact seriously, but yesterday after work, I heard someone calling me from a car — when I went to check, it was my ex. He offered me a ride home. When I got home, he called to check if I’d arrived safely, then started telling me not to overthink and even gave me some business advice.
I feel embarrassed because I met him when I’m at a low point — I’ve lost weight, and it feels like I’ve been exposed, like now he knows I’m struggling financially.

i dont know, but the next day he called at night to ask if am still at work, i told him i clocked early
try not to be too hard on yourself for how it went. you didn’t do anything wrong by being kind or caught off guard. it’s just one moment, not a setback. stay focused on why you started NC in the first place
i broke no contact once and saw my ex right when i was at my lowest too. it’s such a gut punch, especially when he act all calm and caring like nothing ever happened
