@JoyfulHome832 If you’re the one who ended it, he’s probably where I am right now — trying to hold it together. Honestly, it’s actually a good thing he’s not reaching out.
There are usually two reasons: either he’s hurting and needs space to heal, or, if he’d already checked out before the breakup, he might just feel relieved that it’s over.
I’m in the first category. It sucks, but I know time and no contact are the only real ways through this. Not because I want her back — well, I do but it will never happen — but because I need to learn how to breathe again without her. And that’s impossible if I keep calling or texting.
day 16- i often wake up at 4 am and secretly hope he wrote. i check my phone, and no. 16 days went by and he didnt say a word. well maybe we have nothing left to say actually. there s a reason why it ended. so...let's accept it.
